Hello, I'm Olivia, an artist based in Surrey. Bramble & Olive has come about from my lifelong love of art and my need to be surrounded by nature.

From as early as I can remember, I have always loved crafting and painting. My love of art blossomed at school and it has shaped my studies and career ever since. I am never happier than with a paintbrush in my hand (or cuddling my dog, Noodle!).

My art celebrates and takes inspiration from all natural things, from breathtaking landscapes to pets who make our lives so much happier. I like to try and find the beauty in every day things and try to capture them using different media, from pencil to oil paints.

Having spent half my childhood on the North Norfolk coast you’ll see that its big sweeping skies and beaches feature in my work a lot. It’s probably the place I feel happiest, and I get a sense of elation when painting it. For me, happiness is a key part of why I choose to paint and it’s my hope that I can share that feeling through my art.

Art is a true passion for me, and if I can provoke as much enjoyment for someone looking at my work as I get out of creating it, then there’s no feeling quite as wonderful.
