Preserving your wedding bouquet

Your wedding day is one of the most incredible occasions, and the flowers you choose really define the beauty of the event. Capturing your wedding flowers or bouquet in a painting keeps the memory alive as well as adding some floral style to the home.

My process

If you're interested in how I create the wedding bouquet in watercolour paint, then let me talk you through the process of creating the artwork.

Once you've purchased the item, I'll ask you to send through a selection of photos so I can get a feel for all the angles of the bouquet.

I'll then sketch it out and send to you for you to approve the composition before I put paint to paper.

Once we're both happy, I'll get started and begin layering the colour up. I'll send regular update photos with my progress.

Final touches and minute detail are added in and once I'm content with the piece I'll share the complete painting with you. With your sign off, I'll package up the painting in a hard back envelope and extra board to ensure it travels safely, post it signed for, and it'll be on its merry way to you. The whole process takes roughly 6-10 weeks in total.

Keeping your wedding flowers alive for you is an honour for me. With my love of nature and being an old romantic at heart I simply adore painting bouquets in watercolour.
